Hi, welcome to Matchmaster for the best. Today we are going to talk to you about the zero five M M dash W P seventy three, four and seventy five single, dual and four way gang grid plates.
The wall plates come pre-assembled, with fold out locking clips on the side of the plate pre-installed with a neat and tidy plate cover.
The W P seventy four and seventy five are both provided with blank inserts to cover any unused ports if required.
The wall plates have been designed so you do not require any additional mounting accessories due to the use of the floating clips for securing to the wall sheet.
The W P seventy three, four and five are part of a suite of wall plates all featuring the same fold out wall clip design, made available in multiple formats to meet your needs.
Slim line cable management plate with brush cover, slim line single and dual gang grid plates, standard profile fixed free to air and satellite T V options, and standard profile single, dual and four gang grid plates plus a combination dual gang grid with cable management.
Now, let’s take you through the installation of the plates, it’s a very simple one piece design, all you need to in the way of tools to set this up are: Phillips head screwdriver, pencil, wall plate level and a wall sheet cutting tool.
Okay let us get started.
The wall cutout diameter for the wall plates is one hundred and fifteen millimeters wide by fifty five millimeters high so we will need to use a suitable cutting tool to create an opening in the wall for the plates to be installed.
Once we have selected our installation location, we must first check the location using a stud finder, metal detector or electrical detector and make sure there are no obstructions behind before making any cuts.
Once confirmed, it is safe to cut in this location, we need to mark out on the wall the cutout.
You can use the supplied cutout template to trace around then ensure the horizontal trace lines are level.
Now we can go ahead and make our cut using our cutting tool, be careful not to force the tool too quickly through the wall, just in case there is anything further back in the wall, that you haven’t detected.
Now we take our wall plate, which is ready to install, and we pop the cover off so we can access the screw points.
Before fitting into the wall cutout, please ensure to connect your suitable mech of choice with terminated cable for the W P seventy three single gang plate or a combination of mechs for the W P seventy four and seventy five dual and four gang plates.
Blank inserts are provided with the W P seventy four and seventy five to cover off any unused ports.
Make sure to securely seat the mechs into position.
Now place the wall plate in the cutout, gently pressing against the wall sheet to hold steady.
Now, while holding the unit in level and in location, take your Phillips head screwdriver, just give it a few winds anticlockwise first to unwind and prepare the locking clip, then wind it in the clockwise direction to seat the locking clip in position and secure the plate to the wall, continue this step on the other fastening screw and then check the plate is level before you lock into place.
Now place the cover plate over and clip securely into place.
And that is it, the W P seventy three, four and five wall plates is now installed and secure leaving a neat and tidy finish.
