Today, I will be taking you through the simple set up of the 03MM-1EFM.
It’s an FM Radio antenna with a UHF/VHF diplexing balun built in.
The features of this antenna is that it has a built in low pass 4G LTE filter, it recieves from 88-108MHz for FM band
The diplexing balun input allows for VHF 170-230 MHZ and UHF 470-694 MHZ. It is also DC power passing to allow power to pass through to a mast amplifier.
It can be used alone or combined with your existing TV antenna, it is also ideal to be used with our 05MM-WP05 FM/TV-SATELLITE diplexing outlet plate, sold separately, (shown here)
The 05MM-WP05 outlet plate allows you to provide a separate FM and TV/SATELLITE connection from one outlet cable which will help reduce interference to the TV/Set Top Box tuner by only allowing the desired frequency to pass and also provides a dedicated FM connection point for your FM Receiver.
The 05MM-WP05 is DC power passing only on the TV/Satellite port for passing power to a mast head amplifier, it has an FM frequency range of 88 to 108MHz and TV/Satellite frequency of 174-694MHz for TV and 950 to 2450MHz for Satellite
Okay, let’s get started.
Make sure you have it facing the right way up.
Attach it onto your mast, at least 1 metre underneath your existing TV antenna, if you have one.
Tighten the screws of the FM antenna onto your mast.
Connect the TV antenna cable to your FM antenna input, slide the weather proof rubber boot over.
Connect the output cable to the output of the balun and slide the weather proof rubber boot over.
