Example diagram of an antenna system with an In-House modulated channel

The diagram below shows a basic setup of a media device distributed around the house. The media device passes along with the free-to-air signals from the antenna as an in-house channel.

The HDMI source can loop through to the local TV with direct HDMI quality and send the same media to all your TVs in the house.

Using this diagram, you can swap out the 4-way splitter with one of Matchmaster’s 2-way, 3-way, 6-way and 8-way splitters based on the number of TVs you have around the house.

Important: Balance RF levels between the modulator input and the antenna input to the combining splitter as much as possible to prevent interference with each other.

Note: Set the modulator to a clean RF output frequency away from your existing local free-to-air (antenna) input frequencies. Example: If your FTA local channels are 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12 as in most capital city broadcasts. Please set the modulator to a UHF channel between 28-51. If your local channels are between 28-51, please set the modulator to either an unused UHF channel or channels 6-8, 10-12 in the VHF band. Please note channel 9 and 9A are reserved for DAB/DAB+ radio.
